I ordered this last week and I’m still waiting with almost no updates. At first I figured shipping was just slow, but now I’m starting to worry I got fooled or something. I just wish they communicated better so I knew what was going on.

I had to reach out to customer service about my order, and it took a little longer than I thought it would. They did get back to me eventually and helped sort things out, so that was good, but it wasn’t exactly fast or anything. Overall, it was fine, just kind of okay.

The box showed up dented, which was annoying but not the end of the world. When I reached out about it, I felt a little talked down to, like I was overreacting for mentioning it. The product itself was fine, but the packaging and the way it was handled could’ve been better.

I picked up the Hot Tools styler mainly because I was hoping it would help calm down my frizz. It does leave my hair feeling smoother, so I’ll give it that, and it heats up quickly. It’s also simple enough to use without much fuss. That said, my ends can still look kind of dry after styling, so it’s not exactly the big transformation I was expecting. It’s decent and I don’t regret trying it, but I’m not exactly amazed either.

The cord is way too short to be practical, and the swivel keeps getting stuck while I’m trying to use it. I reached out hoping someone would follow up or at least offer some help, but I never heard back, which just made the whole thing more frustrating.

I bought this Hot Tools iron thinking it would make styling easier, but nope. This little heat gremlin can’t seem to pick a temperature and stick with it. One minute it’s barely warm, then suddenly it’s acting like it wants to fry my hair off. It’s hard to use when the temp keeps bouncing around like that. Definitely not happy with it.

Just a heads-up for anyone checking it out: the site wasn’t super easy for me to use. I spent way longer than expected trying to find basic things, and the layout felt kind of confusing. If you’re new to it, you might need a little patience or some extra time to figure your way around

I really wanted to love this, but it was just too heavy for me to use comfortably. Maybe I’m just not used to holding a styling tool for that long, or maybe my arms are weaker than I thought, but after a few minutes I was already tired. It felt kind of awkward to maneuver, and doing my hair started feeling like more of a chore than it should. I’m sure it might work fine for other people, but for me it was frustrating. I probably wouldn’t buy another one unless they came out with a lighter version

I really thought this was going to be a gentler option for my hair, which is why I bought it in the first place, but after just a few uses my ends started feeling so dry and crispy. I was using heat protectant too, so I kept thinking maybe it was something else, but the damage showed up way too fast. My hair just feels kind of fried now, especially at the ends, and yeah, I’m disappointed.

I feel like I paid too much for what this was. The tool is just kind of average, and it didn’t hold up the way I thought it would. By the time you add in the shipping and the price, it just feels even more disappointing... I’d probably just go with a cheaper option next time.

I got a few Hot Tools accessories with my order, they weren’t all that useful. The clips feel flimsy, and the pouch is way too small for what I’d actually want to carry. The main tool works fine, but the add-ons felt like they were just tossed in to make the order seem better than it was. I also couldn’t help wondering if I basically paid extra for stuff I didn’t really need, since the value just wasn’t there.

I wanted to like this, but holding it for more than a few minutes gets uncomfortable fast. The handle starts hurting my wrist quickly, which is super convenient if your goal is to stop using it almost immediately.

My hair curled quickly with this, and it looked nice for the first few hours. But by later in the day, the curls started falling and my hair looked kind of flat. Has anyone else had the same issue with it not holding all day?

I bought this thinking the warranty would give me some peace of mind, but when I actually needed to use it, the claim was denied. The return process dragged on way longer than it should have, too. It was one of those situations that reminded me to look a lot closer at the fine print next time instead of assuming a warranty means you’re covered.

Trying to check out was frustrating, frustrating. The site kept freezing right when I got to payment, and my cart emptied itself twice. I just wanted to place my order, but it turned into way more hassle than it should’ve been...

It heats up okay, but it takes longer than I expected and I get a little impatient waiting on it. Once it’s ready, it works fine, so it’s not a dealbreaker—just not as quick as I was hoping.

After just a few uses, the barrel started feeling rough and kind of cheap to me. I’m not sure if mine is defective or if this is just how it wears, but I expected it to hold up better.

I only used it for about a month before it completely stopped heating. Maybe it would be fine for someone who uses it less often, but for the price, I really expected it to hold up longer
